Do you remember when leather pants were popular in the late 90's and 2000?! Oh man, I remember 'NSYNC was all over those. haha. Well, leather skirts are back this fall, and I'm actually liking it a lot. I think leather is a material that has a masculine quality, but when made into a skirt, brings a great balance of femininity. What do you think?
I've never owned an item that had an animal print on it. This year may be the first because I'm diggin' the leopard print. Now, I'm not really a bold print person, so I'm thinking of leopard print accents for myself. There are, however, a lot of leopard leggings, sweaters and shirts out there if you're wanting to make a big statement.
So, what do you think...are you over the animal prints or are you just getting into it like me?
I'm not a fan of the Navajo print trend. I think a lot of it has to do with living in Arizona and seeing it EVERY where when I visit Sedona. What do you think?
This may be a bit premature, but I'm saying good-bye to summer. It's still over 100 degrees here in Arizona, but all of the retail stores are starting to bring in their fall clothes and that means summer is gone in my book. Besides, I hate summer in Arizona and anything that makes fall come faster is A-Okay to me. Here's my tribute to all things summer and a happy farewell until 2010!
I remember the days when overalls and mid-drift shirts were really popular. I remember wearing pink pleated, corduroy, high-waist, tapered pants (good-NESS)...I never thought these styles would come back again because no human being's figure is flattered by these styles. I thought the whole point of one's fashion is to compliment personality and body type, no?
Even the super models of the world look horrible in these styles!
