It’s only one month into 2020, but I’m ready for a vacation. Anyone else feel me? I couldn’t be more excited to visit Palm Springs this spring for Alt Summit. I’m already planning my outfits and prepping my wardrobe with resort wear from Garnet Hill.

I found this easy breezy linen cover up that you can just throw in your bag and go. I adore the color of it.

I also found some platform espadrilles and a woven handbag to accessorize the dress. I can’t wait to wear these pieces more as it warms up in Arizona.

California Girl

IMG_1625.jpg

How do you decide where you’re from? Is it where you live the longest? Is it where you were born? Is it where you enjoyed most of your formative years? Is it where most of your family lives?

IMG_1635.jpg

I’ve lived in Arizona 17 years now. It feels like home for now, but one day I know I’ll be back in the state in which I was born - California. I say I’m from Arizona, but when I step foot in California it always feels like I was meant to be there. Do you have a place that feels like that to you?

IMG_1639.jpg

So, that’s why I bought this Top Shop t-shirt. I’m a California girl at heart. Born there and will be back one day. I think this little Arizona girl just might feel the same way. She keeps talking about going back to the ocean. =) Time to start planning our family trip.

Basic + Lux

Being a mom of two and working from home means my wardrobe isn’t quite in demand of fancy skirts and dresses. However, I love the trend of taking luxurious pieces and pairing them with casual basics for an everyday look. This satin silk skirt and cotton t-shirt combination from Revari is a perfect example. I would wear this outfit to the office, while at home, out with my friends, on a date…It exemplifies the southwest, casual, laidback vibe that I live daily.

I love the rust color of this skirt and the message of this t-shirt. Both items are ethically sourced and can be found at ShopRevari.com.

Add a black bootie or a sneaker to this look to keep it casual in the cooler months or wear a chunky platform sandal in warmer months.

Keep makeup and hair relaxed and natural for an everyday look, or if you wanted to spice things up style your hair with a center part and add big hoops and a cropped puffy jacket.

Double Slit Maxi Dress

I love the Phoenix creative community. I recently met Eartha via Instagram who happens to be the owner of an incredibly well-curated online store called Revari. I was delighted to see she lives in my home town, and after taking a closer look at her clothes, I realized that I had stumbled on an ethical fashion gold mine.

This cinnamon colored cotton dress with a double slit is just a taste of the goodness that she carries.

Eartha asked I would model some of her new pieces. I felt so honored.

I love how she styled me. The accessories are just right. I especially love the belt she added.

I highly recommend checking out her store and shopping eco-friendly.

Garnet Hill Holiday Pajamas

Pajamas052.jpg

In my opinion, there’s nothing cuter than kid pajamas. Eeach year I buy the kids PJ’s to wear on Christmas Eve, and this year I found some for all of us at Garnet Hill. I even found some slippers for the kids to top it off.

If you’re stumped as to what to get your nieces, nephews or grandkids this holiday season, sleepwear is an easy win. Most parents have to invest in sleepwear for their kids twice a year, because children grow like weeds. Garnet Hill has a ton of cute options made with quality cotton.

Pajamas012.jpg

I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing worse than sleeping in materials that are rough and itchy. Good, quality cotton is breathable, soft to the touch and long-lasting. Garnet Hill is a company known for quality textiles (see some other favorite GH items of mine here and here). You can be confident you are getting the best for your money, and that’s why I also got PJs for myself.

Pajamas051.jpg

I chose classic plaid flannel PJs to coordinate with the kids, and a white waffle knit, cotton long-sleeve top. I’ve already washed both pieces and experienced no changes in size or texture.

We are all set and snuggly for Santa! Hurry and get your PJs right now and take advantage of Garnet Hill’s free shipping and 30% of regular priced designs for Black Friday.
