After reading my stack of magazines this month, one thing is for sure...grunge is coming back! Pages of ripped jeans, plaid shirts, fur vests, motorcycle boots and yes...Dr. Martens.
Back to Prep School

I never went to a private school, but sometimes I wish I had because preppy, plaid skirts, polos and blazers are mandatory. It's almost back to school time for most people, so I made my preppy wish list. Sadly, prep school isn't in the future for me, so maybe I should think about moving to New England where this look is a bit more accepted and people won't think I'm dressing up like Hermoine Granger from Harry Potter.
Such a Stud

Studded clothing is a big trend for fall in addition to all things Victorian, which is pretty fun considering they are on opposite sides of the spectrum. I've seen studs on shoes and bags mostly, but now we're seeing them on dresses, coats and hats! Check it out.

Victorian Inspired

It looks like Victorian inspired clothing is going to be big for Fall 2009. Anna Sui has centered her Fall 2009 collection around the era, and I'm liking it! What are your thoughts on bringing back the era? Too much lace and ruffles?
